DepicT Research - Loose ends http://www.depict.org/2014/loose-ends/?category_request=2014
This is a short funny film about two agents waiting for an alien (from what I believe) to arrive. It has a funny ending and a generally funny conversation between the 2 agents. Their Irish accents make it even funnier! The film is full of talk from the two agents which makes it unlike any of the other films I have reviewed. Most of the shots are medium/close up shots so not too hard to film. There is a bit of CG lighting effects when the "alien" arrives down from what I believe to be a UFO. Probably the funniest of the three in my opinion.

YAWA - nemesis

This is another funny film about 2 thieves who attempt to steal someones possessions, they succeed but need a get away car so they find one. They force the woman inside to open the car for them, they get inside and let her go. But what they don't realize is she has an app on her phone that controls the car's lock. She locks the car using her phone while the thieves are still inside! They end up panicking and for some reason take their shirts off maybe to fool the police when they arrive that they aren't actual thieves or something. It's funny because they are both men and wearing women's bras! There's not a large variety of shots used but they keep jumping back and forth between them. This would be easier in practice when filming as they wouldn't have to move the camera around as much.
As for the audio, they seem to have used for practically all of their shots audio that was recorded separately including the ambient noise. I first noticed this when the thieves tried to open the door to the car, it was quite loud the sound and it suddenly cut off without a little bit of fade which was what I expected. Unlike Loose Ends, there was no conversation or speech said by any of the characters in the entire film - this gives the film simplicity.

This film is shot like a documentary however unlike a documentary, there is no commentary used so like the film YAWA - Nemesis there's no speech being said by any of the characters. The main character is the kid in the Spiderman outfit. He pretends to be this super hero despite not actually having any of Spiderman's powers but the second character - a male grown up interacts with this kid as he tries to fire his web at him and the grown up pretends to be shot. He reveals to him his Superman costume under his shirt; the kid is suprised and leaves a smile on his face. I especially like the use of depth of field (most likely shot with a DSLR). The focusing on the kid helps us pay attention to what he's doing. The shots unlike the other films are moving more closely to the characters rather than being static shots, they all have some kind of motion to them.
